The Watch

     I looked at the year on the penny......the year was two thousand twenty, five years in the future. That couldn't be right, I just thought I was seeing things. Then the phone rang, my teacher picked it up and when she hung up she said that I had to go to the office. 

      When I got to the office the lady at the front desk gave me an envelope and said someone brought it in for me. Just then the bell rang, I was late.

      When I got to class I opened the envelope and inside there was a note. It read:

I can't believe I found someone else of my kind. 

I don't know your name but I'm pretty certain this is yours. 

Open it as soon as you can. 

Don't worry about me, I can track the energy burst. 

I looked inside the envelope again, there was a fob watch and I opened it.
